On a lovely sunny morning 15 Broad Plain U11s boys rocked up to the festival, and by the end they'd all done themselves proud. A slow start saw the lads well beaten in the first few games, but the 2nd match against Clifton saw a last gasp try clinch it 3-2, and then in the final match of the morning another late score was enough to hold pool winners St Brendan's to a 2-2 draw.
It's always good to finish well as it shows the boys have great character, and they can learn from the positives.
