Season 2009/10

The Under 7s have arguably had the most succesful season of all age groups. A big well done to all the players and their two coaches Nick and Mike. To read their season report click here.

After a dismal seniors season its all change at Broad PLain for the season 2010/11. We have a new coach in ex-England international Bob Hesford! Training will begin on Tuesday the 6th of July.

After some debate and a players vote, Broad Plain's 1st XV and 2nd XV have decided to leave the Somerset Leagues and join the Gloucester leagues next season.

After the successes the Colts team had last season they have decided to stay together for the 2010/11 season. Now called the Development Side it is hoped the team will help make the transition to senior rugby that bit easier.

Fitness and general training is every Wednesday night from 7pm during the summer. All players from all age groups are encouraged to come along and keep fit over the summer.

Next seasons league fixtures for the three seniors teams have now been published and can be downloaded here. Please note that the fixtures secretary is in the process of arranging some freindlys for empty weekends so expected all the blanks to be filled (other than christmas).
